What the recipient sees, and what that implies.

The form never asks for your own mobile number. The message leaves from our gateway's number, and that is what the recipient sees. That does not make the send anonymous, however: sends are logged, and the service remains subject to French law.

The steps

  1. 1

    Open the sending form

Only the recipient's number and the message text are requested. Your own number is never needed.

  2. 2

Sign your message if you want to be identified

Since the number shown is not yours, the recipient will not know who is writing. Add your first name to the text if you want them to recognise you.

  3. 3

    Confirm after the safety delay

The 60-second countdown applies to every send, without exception.

  4. 4

Check replies on the dedicated page

A reply sent to the gateway number appears on the received-messages page, which is public: expect no confidentiality there.

Worth knowing

  • The sender shown is a shared number: several people use it at the same time.
  • Replies received are published publicly — never ask for sensitive information in return.
  • Anonymous to the recipient does not mean anonymous outright: sends are recorded and can be passed on to the authorities.

Frequently asked questions

Can the recipient see my phone number?+

No. The message shows our gateway's number, never yours, which the form does not ask for.

Is the send completely anonymous?+

No. Sends are logged, including the IP address, and can be passed to the judicial authorities in case of abuse.
